After Airtel and Reliance Jio, now Vodafone Idea has also launched e-SIM (eSIM) in India, Although e-SIMs are currently also offered for postpaid customers. Vodafone Idea’s e-SIM is currently available only in Delhi, Gujarat and Mumbai circles.
Initially, Vodafone Idea’s e-SIM has been introduced for iPhone users only.
Vodafone Idea’s e-SIM support iPhone models, which include the names of iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE (2020), iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. Soon its support will be found on Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Fold.
How to get Vodafone Idea’s eSIM?
If you are already a Vodafone Idea customer,and you have an iPhone , then you can take an e-SIM. For e-SIM, all you need to do is a message.
In the message, you have to write “eSIM email id” and send it to 199. If your email ID is not registered with the mobile number. Then you have to send it to 199 by writing “email email id”.
Once the e-mail ID is validated, you will get a message from 199 on the number.Then After which you will have to reply to that message by writing “ESIMY”.
After this, you will get another message and Then, QR code will come on the email ID. Then After scanning you will be able to activate the e-SIM.
