Mostwanted Vikas Dubey of Kanpur shootout has been arrested from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. It is being told that Vikas Dubey cut the slip of Mahakaleshwar temple and surrendered himself after this. At present, the local police have taken him into custody. UP police has confirmed the arrest of Vikas Dubey.

It is being told that Vikas Dubey had informed the local media about his surrender. After this, he surrendered before the local police near Mahakal police station of Ujjain. Police has arrested accused Vikas Dubey and brought him to Mahakal police station. After the news of surrender, the STF team has left for Ujjain.

It is being told that Vikas Dubey was standing in front of Mahakal temple. As soon as the local media reached there, he shouted that I am Vikas Dubey, Kanpur. After this, the local police also reached the spot. He was immediately arrested and brought directly to the Mahakal police station, where he is being questioned.

Two of Vikas Dubey’s associates were killed by the UP Police today.
Vikas Dubey surrendered in Ujjain shortly after this encounter. According to the DIG of Indore, during the surrender he kept shouting that I am Vikas Dubey, Kanpur, the police have caught me.
