Washington l Amid the rapidly growing cases of the global pandemic coronavirus, the number of corona infections in the world has now crossed five million, and more than twelve and a half million people have died from the pandemic.
According to data released by the Center for Science and Engineering (CSSE) of John Hopkins University in the United States, 50,052,204 people have been infected by the coronavirus so far and 12,53,110 people have died.
The corona epidemic continues to wreak havoc and 9,33,359 people have been infected and 2,36,064 have died in the US, the country most affected by the epidemic. More than 1.27 lakh new infections have found in the US in the last 24 hours.
Although over 28 million people in the world have outperformed the corona infection, many countries are again facing new restrictions and lockdowns to control the epidemic.
