PM Modi and Russian President Putin also agreed to maintain bilateral contacts and consultations, due to which the annual bilateral summit will be held at the end of this year.

On the night of 15 June, violent skirmishes were also witnessed between the soldiers of India and China in the Galvan Valley of eastern Ladakh.
