India’s COVID-19 Recovery rate nears 90 pct:

New Delhi. With the continuous increase in the number of coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreaks in the country, the rate of recovery has increased to 90 percent. The active cases of corona have been steadily decreasing and now its number has come down to 6.68 lakhs and the number of infections has increased continuously to cross 78.64 lakhs. The number of corona patients recovering in the country is witnessing a decrease in active cases due to continuous increase. According to the data released on Sunday by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in the last 24 hours, 50,129 new cases have come and the total number of infected has gone up to 78,64,811.

During the same period, 62,077 people have beaten the corona, and together, 70,78,123 patients have been coronated in the country so far.

The rate of recovery in the country has increased to 90.00 percent and the rate of active cases has come down to 8.50 percent, while the death rate is still 1.51 percent. Maharashtra, the worst affected by the Corona epidemic, has reduced the number of active cases during the last 24 hours by 3724 to 1,40,702 lakh, while the death toll has risen to 43,152 with 137 deaths. During this period, 10,004 people became infection-free, which increased the number of healthy people to more than 14.55 lakhs.
