Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took stock of the capital’s largest COVID Facilitation Center in Chhatarpur. The center has been named Sardar Patel COVID Care Center and Hospital. The 2,000-bed facility was started on Friday. Significantly, ITBP personnel are working as health staff here.

Let me tell you that Sardar Patel Corona Care Center and Hospital, built on the premises of Radhaswami Satsang Beas in Chhatarpur, Delhi, is ready to recruit patients. This center has a capacity of 10 thousand beds, out of which two thousand beds have been prepared for the use of patients. It is the largest coved care center. This center has all the facilities required for COVID positive patients with common symptoms. Oxygen will be available on 10 percent of the beds here.

According to the advice of medical experts, arrangements have been made to keep this center artificially cold. In this, NIC’s e-hospital software is being used in 350 computers installed on 100 tables. The electronic procedure will be adopted for the recruitment and discharge of patients and nurses will use the tablet during regular checkups of patients.

170 doctors and specialists of ITBP, more than 700 nurses and people of paramedical staff will take care of the patients. Beds, mattresses, sheets, etc. have been donated for this center by various social organizations. The capacity of isolation beds will be increased for them to keep patients in this center as per the need in Delhi.
