A major official change has been made in Guru Tegh Bahadur (GTB), the second-largest Delhi government hospital treating Corona in the country’s capital Delhi. Dr. Sunil Kumar has been removed from the post of Medical Director of GTB Hospital.
Till now, Dr. Rautela was working in the Department of Anesthesia. This action has been taken on the orders of Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal. Dr. Sunil Kumar was employed in the post of Medical Director for a long time. The Lieutenant Governor has issued an order appointing Dr. Rautela. The Lt. Governor said in his order that Dr. R. s. Rautela was working as Director Professor of the Department of Anesthesia at GTB Hospital.
Earlier, Dr. Sunil Kumar, who was Medical Director, has been removed from this post with immediate effect. However, according to the order, Dr. Sunil Kumar will continue to work as Director Professor in the surgery department of GTB Hospital.
The reshuffle in the GDB Hospital has been noticed at a time when the number of coronavirus patients in Delhi is steadily increasing. So far, the number of coronavirus patients in Delhi has exceeded 77 thousand 239, out of which 2 thousand 492 people have died. Apart from this, 47 thousand 91 people have been cured by treatment.
