Many researchers believe that Green Tea helps in the prevention of liver diseases, type-2 diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, helps in lowering the cholesterol level, and in many types of cancer. Not only health even helps in better improvement of hair and skin as well. As it is very much popular in today’s era, that is the reason why people consume it whenever they want. But if don’t know the right time to consume green tea it will harm you instead of benefits.

Don’t even think to have green tea during these times.

When one should not drink green tea, the famous dieticians believe that one if wants the complete benefits of green tea then should have it in the proper time and proper direction. According to them, one should not have green tea during these times –

An empty stomach in the morning:

As told earlier green tea is very much rich in antioxidants as well as polyphenols. So, if drinking green tea in the morning that too empty stomach will create acidity, and can disturb the digestion along with abdominal cramps and nausea.

Along with/Just after a meal:

There is no doubt in this that green tea helps in digestion, but along with or just after meal having green tea will nullify the nutritional constituent in the food, results in no benefits of having food.

Just before Sleep:

Well green tea has many of the constituents which are beneficial for the body, but green tea also contains caffeine so if having green tea before bed will disturb the sleep cycle.
