In the midst of Corona crisis, several options are being considered for calling a parliamentary session.

According to sources, the Modi government is exploring possibilities of starting the monsoon session of Parliament from the last week of August or the first week of September.
Rajya Sabha Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also met in June on this subject. In the meeting held in June, it was revealed that with social distancing, only 60 MPs can sit in the Rajya Sabha Room instead of 245.

At the same time, it is not possible for all MPs to sit in the Lok Sabha and Central Hall.

Only 100 MPs will be able to sit in the Lok Sabha and Central Hall. Earlier, the budget session of Parliament was scheduled to run till April 3, but before that on March 23, the session was postponed indefinitely.
